Scott J. Broussard is a partner in the certified public accounting firm of Broussard, Poché, Lewis &
Breaux, LLP. Mr. Broussard practices primarily in the areas of
corporate/individual taxation, business appraisal, and
mergers/acquisitions. He joined the firm in 1974 and became a partner
in 1980.
Mr.
Broussard is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is Accredited
in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and has also been designated a Certified Valuation
Analyst by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
He, also, holds two American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Certificates of Educational Achievement (CEA) in Business Valuations.
He lectures for various professional groups in business valuations and
estate planning and testifies as an expert witness in many District
Courts throughout the State of Louisiana.
He
is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants,
the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National
Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Management Consulting
Services Section of the AICPA, as well as a member of various civic,
institutional, and non-profit boards in the Lafayette area.
